- 4x4 diesel chassis — Type I or Type III preferred
- All-aluminum box — rust-free, structurally sound
- Reasonable hours/miles — a solid runner, not a basket case
- Clean title — ready to transfer
- Open to project rigs and non-runners if the chassis and box are right
