The Wilderness the Rig Is Built For.
The journey starts around the Great Lakes and across Michigan, the Ozarks between Arkansas and Missouri, and Atlanta out into North Georgia — then spreads out as the travels grow. Canoe trips, backcountry hiking, and remote camps where deep thought and physical grit collide, documented across the blog and every social channel.
Three Starting Regions. One Spreading Route.
The expeditions launch from the Great Lakes and Michigan, the Ozarks straddling Arkansas and Missouri, and Atlanta out into North Georgia. As the build comes together and the travels expand, the route spreads out from these anchors — north, south, and everywhere the rig can reach.

The Great Lakes & Michigan
Where the journey begins. Northern Michigan shorelines, the Upper Peninsula backcountry, and the freshwater coastline the rig is being built to roam — canoe routes, state-forest trails, and cold-water camps.

The Ozarks — Arkansas & Missouri
Ozark rivers, ridge trails, and the rolling backcountry straddling Arkansas and Missouri — the next leg of the route, with canoe floats, bluff hikes, and off-grid camps between the two states.

Atlanta & North Georgia
The southern anchor. Atlanta out to the North Georgia mountains and the southern Appalachians — ridge runs, waterfall trails, and the foothills where the expeditions kick off before the route spreads.
These three regions are the launchpad. As the rig is finished and the travels expand, the route spreads out — west into the Rockies and the desert, north into the boreal country, and wherever the next horizon leads. Follow along on the blog and the socials for where it heads next.
Expeditions & Field Reports
Canoe trips through the Great Lakes, backcountry hiking across the Ozarks, and ridge runs out of North Georgia — the adventures the ambulance is being built to chase, with more regions rolling in as the route spreads.

Great Lakes Canoe & Michigan Northwoods Crossing
Portaging canoes across untouched glacial lakes, navigating by compass and topo charts, and reflecting around solo firelight — the kind of trip the ambulance is being built to chase, right where the journey begins.

Ozark Ridge & River Route — AR to MO
Scouting the Ozark route across Arkansas and Missouri — river floats, bluff trails, and off-camber forest roads. Testing the cold-weather thinking and trail reading the rig will need for the long haul.

North Georgia Ridge Run with River
Zone 2 endurance, rucking with weight, high-elevation river crossings, and dawn prayer summits out of Atlanta into the North Georgia mountains — with River setting the pace on every ridgeline.
Every Expedition Starts With the Right Rig
These trips are the field work. The ambulance build is the platform that makes them possible — working from the road, training, worshipping, and adventuring with River. Follow the hunt and the build.
